Enjoy a relaxed afternoon excursion to the renowned Vakakis Winery, hidden behind the mountains of north‑western Samos. After an easy hotel pick‑up, guests are taken to the winery, where the visit begins at the company’s small wine museum, housed in a beautifully preserved traditional building dating back to 1920. Fully restored in 2005, the building retains its original architectural character and offers a glimpse into the everyday life of a rural Samian family from the early 20th century through to the 1960s. Following the visit to the museum, guests continue with a tasting of the winery’s celebrated wines, while learning more about the history of Samian wine and the evolution of its production over the years.
