Taste of the Orient

Sail away to the coast of Asia Minor to the magnificent town of Kusadasi (New Ephesus) , famed for its fascinating shops and bazaars.

Departure from the port of Pythagorio and cruise towards the Orient. Arrival in Kusadasi after 1 3/4 hour boat journey .

On arrival, there is an optional Tour to the ancient site of Ephesus, famous for the temple of Artemis- one of the seven wonders of the world. Then an optional lunch, before returning to Kusadasi, where you still have time to enjoy the Turkish bazaars , find oriental carpets, leathers, jewelry, brass, alabaster etc.

ITINERARY

Departing from Pythagorio harbour at 07.30

Depart from Kusadasi for Ephesus ( may change slightly)

After 00:30 arrive to Ephesus and start the tour

After 02:30 depart for a shopping stop on the way to Kusadasi

After 03:15 depart for Kusadasi

After 03:30 arrive in Kusadasi , time for lunch or free time

Return to Samos at approx. 18:45 (17.00 departure from Kusadasi) .

The restaurant is by the sea front offering Turkish traditional kebap and seafood . The guests will have starter and salad and can chose any main course from the menu as meat, chicken , fish and seasonal fruit at the end.

Guests who wish to eat will be left at the restaurant and the rest of the group will drive to the port . The distance port – restaurant is about 5 minute walk and also to the center .

Guests will meet at the port for return procedure.
