Island Tour (starting west Samos)

This is full day island tour offered to guests from the areas of Karlovassi and Votsalakia . Guests from Karlovasi may be transferred by taxi to meet the bus coming from votsalakia at the crossroad to agii theodori.

The schedule of the tour includes

• Stop in Koumeika , stop in an oil producing factory
• Stop in Koumaradei at a pottery shop to watch a short demonstration on ceramics
• Guided tour of the Monastery of Timios Stavros or Megali Panagia
• Visit of the HERA temple
• Stop in Pythagorion, the main tourist resort on the island and lunch (lunch not included in the price).
• Drive to Samos town, have a short photo stop over the town and then
• continue to Kokkari, a picturesque fishing harbor and free time for a walk around.
• Stop in a winery outside the village of Kondeika to learn the secrets of samos wine culture and have a small wine tasting at the end .
• Return to the hotels.

Note that the tour may be operated on two languages simultaniously (for example dutch – english ) in case of low participation. Schedule may change.
